For your personal Birth Chart, your horoscope is written inside a circle that is divided into twelve parts like a pie chart. Each part is a House. The first House is the house of your Ascendant and is placed under the horizon on the left side. The remaining eleven houses follow counter clockwise from this point. Every House has its own specific meaning and is the basis of your Synastry comparison. Each House that contains a planet in your partner's horoscope will indicate specific areas that have an influence on your relationship.
